Academic Advising Timeline

Students select courses for the next year during the academic advising/course selection process which takes place in the Spring of each year. 

Residents of Fairfax County who are 18 years of age and older and who have not earned a GED or high school diploma are eligible for the Diploma pathway at Fairfax County Adult High School. Schedule changes are considered only for students who are electing to reduce their number of enrolled courses.
