Michelle Morgan began serving as the assistant administrator at Fairfax County Adult High School (FCAHS) in February 2015. Prior to joining FCAHS, Morgan served as a principal and assistant principal with Bedford County Public Schools.
She began her teaching career in 1993 with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where she was an English teacher, a reading specialist, and an assistant principal at both the middle and high school levels. Additionally, Morgan has taught courses at the college level including Reading Strategies in Secondary Classrooms at Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida.
Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Education from Florida International University and a Master of Education in Reading from Nova Southeastern University, completing the licensure program in Educational Leadership at Florida International University in 1999. In 2014, Morgan graduated from Virginia Tech with a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies.
